RSPH Level 2 Award in Food Safety and Hygiene

The purpose of this course is for learners to obtain a knowledge and understanding of: the importance of food hygiene, associated food safety hazards, good hygiene practice and controls based upon an awareness of food safety management systems.

These topics are regarded by the Food Standards Agency as being important to understanding and maintaining good practice in the handling, processing and preparation of safe food.

RSPH Level 2 Award in Food Safety for Manufacturing  

This course is designed for those who work in all areas of the food and drink manufacturing sectors.

As well as those directly involved in the handling, production or processing of food or drink items, the qualification may also be suitable for those whose work requires them to enter the workplace e.g. equipment maintenance engineers and delivery personnel. It is valuable as a free-standing qualification or as an addition for people following other training programmes.

Professional Cookery Training

The Professional Cookery courses are designed to introduce candidates to essential kitchen skills with learning outcomes designed to develop practical cookery skills.

Through the course, learners will develop their understanding of the core skills required in a professional kitchen; improving on a number of techniques, including the ability to handle kitchen equipment, prepare food and finish/store food items safely.

Health & Safety Training 

  The objective of the the RSPH Level 3 Award in Health and Safety is to provide individuals with the knowledge to be able to supervise staff in the area of health and safety in the workplace; and to  make the individual safe for him/herself, safe for others and capable of identifying potential hazards. The course is delivered over 3 days with a multiple choice examination.There are no restrictions on candidate entry.
